SAUNA CENTER

Our spacious Sauna Center is now open on the 5th floor! Come and relax by enjoying the beautiful views to river Emajõgi straight from the sauna or jacuzzi.

There are three different saunas to enjoy – Finnish sauna, Steam sauna and Sanarium. In addition 2 hot tubs and a bar which offers cooling drinks.

Morning sauna:

Sat-Sun 08:00-11:00

Discounts for hotel guests and children.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult to visit the sauna center.
To ensure safe visiting we have applied additional rules:

* We have equipped our sauna center with disinfectant. Please disinfect your hands before and after your visit.

* Please put even more focus on everyday hygiene. Wash your hands thoroughly and use the showers before entering our saunas.

* All of our visitors must wear flip flops. In case you have forgotten yours, you can buy a pair from our administrator for 3€/per pair.

It is possible to book the entire sauna center for various events. In addition to that we offer different snacks and drinks.
Inquiry for reserving our sauna center needs to be forwarded at least three workdays before requested event.

Code of Conduct for Tartu Hotel Sauna Centre Visitors

We are committed to offering our visitors excellent and remarkable relaxation in our cosy sauna centre. For everyone’s pleasurable stay at the sauna centre we ask you to abide by the following code of conduct.

 General information

  • To visit the sauna centre a ticket has to be purchased.
  • Tickets are sold until 30 minutes before closing time.
  • Visitors are responsible for their stay at the sauna centre.
  • Visitors must make sure their health allows them to be in different saunas.
  • Visitors younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Hotel Tartu Sauna Centre will not accept any responsibility for damaged swimwear or personal belongings and valuables left in the changing room or locker.
  • When leaving the sauna centre, wristbands and other rented equipment must be returned to the sauna centre administrator.
  • Smoking and drinking strong alcoholic drinks is not allowed at the sauna centre. The administrator may refuse to sell alcohol to clearly intoxicated visitors.
  • No food or drinks may be brought to the sauna centre. Drinks and snacks are sold at the sauna centre bar.

Using the facilities

  • Showering before entering the saunas and bubble baths is mandatory.
  • There is a common locker room for visitors. For changing, please use a marked changing room.
  • All visitors, including children, must wear appropriate clothing.
  • Walk with caution as the wet sauna floor may be slippery.
  • Please look after your children at the sauna centre at all times so their action would not become dangerous or disturb other visitors.
  • When using the steam sauna and sanarium, sit on paper towels provided in the sauna centre.
  • When stepping into the bubble bath, be careful and hold onto the arm rests. Jumping into the bath is not allowed.
  • No chewing gum is allowed at the sauna centre.
  • Using body care products and shaving is not allowed at the sauna centre, locker room or showers.
  • Used towels should be left in special basket in the locker room.

Our staff members have the right to call attention to improper behaviour or cancel the validity of a ticket if necessary.
